Rio de Janeiro’s natural landscapes have been declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The proposal provides private spaces for landscape architects and UNESCO committees and researchers as a forum to discuss the preservation of Rio’s natural landscape.

The proposed building is sited in one of the city’s most picturesque spot, providing a public tourist jetty with cafes and viewing platforms that enables visitors to experience the landscape beyond. The building acts as a projector for the landscape. Adopting the concept of Chinese Landscape Painting, the building was designed to frame the landscape and lead the visitors through a journey, experiencing different areas of the landscape in time sequences and various atmospheric conditions.
